My Services

The services I offer range from one-time sessions to ongoing support throughout the first months after birth.

As a post partum doula, I prioritize the diverse needs of modern families, including:

  • Queer/LGBTQ+ Parenthood: I value and acknowledge the unique experiences of queer parents, promoting equal involvement and teamwork in caregiving.
  • Binational Parenthood/Expats: I understand the challenges of giving birth away from one’s homeland, offering support tailored to the needs of expat families.
  • Single parent: no matter if you are a birthing parent or adoptive, I’m there to reduce stress, boost your confidence and alleviate feelings of isolation, fostering resilience and a strong support network.

I believe in empowering parents to discover their own parenting style rather than prescribing specific methods. Through active listening and gentle guidance, I help parents navigate their unique journey with confidence.

Recognizing the individuality of each family, I adapt my approach to address specific needs. Whether it’s overcoming breastfeeding challenges, promoting healthy sleep habits, or supporting sibling adjustment, I tailor my support to the evolving dynamics of each family.

In addition, I provide hands-on assistance to ensure parents have time to rest, recover, and enjoy nourishing meals after childbirth. Throughout the transition into parenthood, I equip families with essential tools and resources for a smooth journey.

My services are offered in both english and hebrew.

Postpartum doula

I offer a comprehensive range of assistance tailored to meet your individual needs during the postpartum period. My goal is to ensure that you feel supported and empowered as you navigate the challenges and joys of parenthood. From providing guidance on feeding techniques, including breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, or a combination of both, to hands-on assistance with diapering and bathing, I am here to help you feel confident in caring for your newborn.

I understand the importance of emotional well-being during this transformative time, and I offer a compassionate presence, listening ear, and encouragement to navigate the highs and lows that come with welcoming a new addition to your family. As a postpartum doula, I bring my experience as a somatic coach into my practice to support new parents in both practical and emotional ways. Whether it’s meal preparation or light tidying, my aim is to create a comfortable and organized living environment allowing you to focus on bonding with your baby and taking care of yourself. I use different techniques of touch and deep breathing to help parents connect with their body, rest and recover.

In essence, my in-home support services offer a holistic approach to postpartum care, addressing your physical, emotional, and practical needs as you embark on this incredible journey of parenthood.

Allow yourself to be seen and taken care of, this way you have the best conditions to be the parent you want to be.

Rebozo ceremony

Originating from Mexican traditions, the ceremony involves the use of a long, woven shawl known as the rebozo, which holds significant cultural and spiritual significance. The rebozo serves as a versatile tool for comfort measures during pregnancy, labor and after, offering gentle massage, counter-pressure, and relaxation techniques.

Following childbirth, the rebozo holds a multifaceted role in postpartum care, particularly in cultures where the tradition of the “closing the bones” ceremony is observed. This ceremony, rooted in Mexican and Central American traditions, involves a series of rituals aimed at supporting the mother’s physical and emotional recovery after giving birth. Closing the bones ceremony can be done from 40 days after birth and any time after.  The rebozo is utilized in various ways during this ceremony, including gentle wrapping and binding techniques around the hips and abdomen to provide support to the pelvic area, which may have undergone strain during pregnancy and labor. Additionally, the rebozo serves as a tool for massage, relaxation, and emotional healing, promoting a sense of closure and restoration.

Through the closing the bones ceremony, the rebozo facilitates the transition into motherhood, offering comfort, strength, and rejuvenation during the delicate postpartum period.

Take the time to close the experience of birth, collect your body and strength and recover.
